7th Edition of the Bookworms Carnival: Best of 2007


Welcome to the 7th Edition of the Bookworms Carnival. I'm so happy you've dropped by. The theme of the carnival is Best Books of 2007. Here you'll find links to individual books and links to best-of lists. It appears that 2007 kept a lot of people busy reading! I hope you enjoy. Be sure to read the end of the post where I mention the details about the 8th Edition of the Carnival!

Jen Robinson of Jen Robinson's Book Page presents her Favorite Reads From 2007.

Little Willow offers her "Best Books of 2007." See also her project on rounding up authors' favorite books of the year.

Betsy Bird (aka Fuse #8) shares two entries: "My Favorite Children's Books" and "The Golden Fuse Awards"

Chris from book-a-rama offers up her own awards of the 2007 season. Categories include "Best Atmosphere", "Best Love Story" and here's one you don't see everyday..."Best Scared the Be-Jebus Out of Me."

Dewey of The Hidden Side of A Leaf shares her "Best of 2007."

Megan of Leafing Through Life brings us "The Best of 2007" in her 2007 Leafy Awards.

A.J. of the Used Books Blogs presents his "Best Books of 2007" list. He picks Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell to be the best book he's read in 2007.

Alisonwonderland of So Many Books, So Little Time presents her "Highlights of the Year."

Susan of West of Mars takes us on a tour of her 2007 reading year pointing out the highlights to what appears to be a great year for books.

Kailana of Kailana's Written World shares her "Best of 2007."

The 8th Edition of the Bookworms Carnival will be hosted at The Book Ninja. The theme is "The Geography of Make-Believe." Full details are available at her site. You'll need to read them. Trust me. (But I have every intention of submitting to this carnival!!!) Send an e-mail to thebookninja at gmail dot com with an appropriate subject line like “Bookworms Carnival” or “CARNIVAL OF AWESOMENESS!!!!” or “CARNIVAL EIGHT FOR THE WIN!” (Be creative, but use the words “bookworms” or “carnival” somewhere). The deadline for submission is February 8th.
